Christmas is only 3 weeks away. Feels like this year just started. It's true, the older you get the faster time goes. So Shawn, enjoy your youth! The ride gets faster and rougher the older you get.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I am doing just that. I am on day three right now of 4 day party. It all ends tomorrow (err tonight) night with a party at my house. Went out on Wednesday, went out last night and ended up waking up at a buddies house, went out tonight and really didn't even get slightly buzzed (stupid beer) and it all ends tomorrow with one big party here.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I am not going to say I am happy with the way things occured for me to get to this point. But for the first time in, I don't know, a long time I am happy.

I am hanging out with friends again who I bailed on because my ex didn't like, and they have all shown me nothing but love. I am dating an absolute amazing girl. I am going out again, because I turned into a "house husband" over the past two years or so.

I wish I could say I feel bad about it, but I don't. Granted, day four of this party has really taken it's toll on me and I am sure tomorrow I am going to wake up pissing blood (LOL) but for this first time in a long time, I am doing things I want to do, with the people I want to do them with and spending time with someone who I like quite a bit. That and you only turn 30 once, why not have a huge ass fucking party?

And I know I am rambling here, but I can actually see all the anger I had built up inside for so long, just going away. My friends have noticed I have gone back to my "old" self, making jokes again, living life and having fun.

So, lessoned learned here. If you are unhappy, do something about. Don't stay unhappy because you think it is the right thing to do.

With the snow we now have on the ground, it's looking more and more and feeling more like the holiday season. Kind of like a light coating of white icing across the entire area.
Seeing the lights through the snow kid of gives that "holiday (or who ha day or even ho ho day) effect"

Snow has caused some problems for some people, but it does create the right kind of backdrop for the holiday season.
